Energy Star is a dynamic government/industry partnership that offer businesses and consumers energy efficient solutions; making it easy to save money while protecting the environment for future generations.
Energy Star is a government-backed program of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It is a voluntary labeling program designed to identify and promote energy efficient products to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Energy Star provides solutions and a trustworthy label on over 40 product categories. These products deliver the same or better performance as comparable models while using less energy and saving money.
The International Energy Star symbol (internationally respected) and EnerGuide symbol (Canada) is a simple way for consumers to identify products and service providers that are among the most energy efficient on the market.
Only manufactures and retailers whose products meet the Energy Star/EnerGuide criteria can label their products with these symbols. Choosing an Energy Star/EnerGuide labeled product or service provider over the conventional choice will save you in energy costs over the long run, resulting in considerable savings.
